my route is nailed to the ground from it i see oceans of grain or walls of glass
through tunnels and over bridges my eyes get blinded with freshly sheded light or depressed with lonely waterfalls in forgotten canyons
i don't worry about my ticket it's long expired the conductor wont let me leave
he says "i don't know if you'd like it out there, it's best just to stay in your room." i comply as i do

it was really useless. i emptied my lungs i felt my vocal chords scrape i heard nothing but the crack of the floor
normally that crack would wake me up shake me in my bed the knot in my stomach finally untied a blurry split second may bring years of fear.
